I used biting sarcasm, a dash of misanthropic cynicism, and a ravenous fast food addiction to develop the Checker’s brand voice and identity on Facebook. How else would you sell a deep fried burger with fries as a topping?

By acknowledging the absurdity of social media and brands participation in the space (this was 2013 when “reactive” social marketing was king), we captured the attention of our core consumer by using a brash and unapologetic tone. Urging them to consume not only our Facebook content, but tons of Checkers fries (I highly suggest them.)
